Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Step into an impactful role performing vital diagnostic procedures as a Radiology Technologist. You'll join a dedicated imaging team supporting patient care using cutting-edge radiological equipment. Ideal candidates bring technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to accuracy and patient comfort.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract assignment Full-time hours; specifics to be discussed during interview
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Certification through ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Valid state license to practice as a Radiology Technologist Minimum of 1 year of experience in a busy imaging/radiology department preferred Current BLS certification required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and fast-paced clinical environments
Core Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring both safety and optimal imaging results Follow all safety procedures regarding radiation protection for patients, team members, and self Accurately complete required documentation for each procedure Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care Provide reassurance and instructions to patients to minimize anxiety and improve procedure outcomes Ensure equipment is maintained and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
