Job Description
Job description The Registered Radiologic Technologist will perform radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements. Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Perform selected nursing, lab, administrative, and clerical duties that assist in the delivery of orthopedic health care and patient care management under the direction of a Physician, PA, or NP. These duties are delegated in relation to the individual's degree of training, in accordance with the objectives and policies of the organization and respective state laws governing such action and activities. Selected candidate will serve as a medical assistant from time to time as necessary. Responsibilities include bringing patients to rooms, beginning basic assessments, and updating electronic health records. Medical assistants are responsible for patient care including wound care, suture removal, assisting physicians with minor, in-office surgical procedures, injections, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high volume atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications and Education Requirements Radiologic Technology Degree Current and Active ARRT Requires knowledge of human anatomy X-Ray Experience in Operating Room Minimum 1 year experience in medical field EHR Knowledge Preferred Skills Basic computer skills necessary: Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new software quickly Experience with insurance a plus, but not necessary
