ARRT Certification Full Job Description Work Shift:
Day
  • 8 Hour (United States of America)8:00am
  • 5:00pm (40 Weekly Hours) / Monday
  • Friday Performs radiological and specific laboratory functions.
Functions as part of the clinical team as delegated by the nurse and at the direction of the physician, which require documented competencies. Responsible for taking radiographs of various parts of the body as ordered by the physician. Also responsible for obtaining specimens, conducting specific laboratory tests, and reporting/recording the results to the physician/ medical record.
Education & Training:
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or associate degree in Medical Technology. Students in their final semester of an accredited School of Radiology may also be considered with the condition that completion of approved degree is achieved within 6 months of hire date.
Experience:
None.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current ARRT registration or obtained within 12 months of hire date. For MedTech, current (AMT) or (ASCP) MT certification. Current
AHA/ARC BLS
certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment.
