Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an MRI technologist passionate about delivering quality patient care in a high-tech environment. This contract role calls for a detail-oriented imaging professional skilled in MRI technology, committed to ensuring patient comfort and diagnostic accuracy.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program Current certification/licensure in MRI (ARRT or equivalent) Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures Thorough understanding of safety standards related to MRI environments Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective patient interaction Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Schedule/Hours:
Variable shifts depending on department needs
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, answering questions and monitoring well-being throughout procedures Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to established protocols Review images for quality assurance and assist with troubleshooting as needed Ensure proper documentation of procedures, patient information, and safety checks Practice universal precautions and maintain a clean, safe work environment Work alongside fellow staff to optimize patient flow and service efficiency This contract opportunity offers the chance to use advanced MRI technology in a supportive clinical setting.
