Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care and advanced imaging diagnostics as an MRI Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity allows you to provide high-quality MRI scans while collaborating with knowledgeable medical professionals.

Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent) At least one year of recent experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures Demonstrated ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients of all ages Familiarity with digital imaging and electronic health records BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with physician protocols Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each imaging procedure Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques for optimal results Review images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic quality before transmitting to radiologists Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging suites, equipment, and supplies Collaborate with radiologists and support staff for seamless workflow and best patient outcomes Document procedures and patient information in accordance with facility guidelines Stay current with advances in MRI technology and best practices
