RESPONSIBILITIES I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Under instruction, guidance, and supervision of assigned staff, trains and learns to perform CT procedures and patient care. Provides patient care during procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.Constant:
reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object.Frequent:
standing, walking, twisting body, stooping/bending, lifting weight with assistance up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 40 pounds; pushing/pulling up to 5 pounds of force, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.Occasional:
sitting, kneeling, squatting, twisting body.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Exposed to communicable diseases, body fluids, mechanical/electrical units, chemicals, and radiation. Work environment may be stressful due to patient volume.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A.EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Current Hawaii State license as Radiologic Technologist. Accepted into a certified CT Technologist program approved by the management of Imaging Services at The Queen's Medical Center. In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff. Current BLS certification.B. EXPERIENCE
