1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Vascular Interventional Radiology unit, requiring 12+ months of hospital-based vascular and Cardiac Cath Lab experience. Details Invasive Vascular Service unit performing vascular procedures Approximately 25 cases per day 4x10 hour day shifts totaling 40 hours per week Holiday rotation required Call schedule includes every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend (7p Friday through 7a Monday) Single call team covers two facilities, with most emergencies occurring at the Level I trauma facility Required to float across campuses when needed Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring

EMR:

Epic Requirements Minimum of 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center setting required Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required Peripheral vascular experience required Level I trauma experience preferred Active ARRT (R) certification required ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred

RCIS/CCI

certification a plus BLS certification (AHA) required Iowa Radiology license highly preferred, license required if applicable; will consider candidates in the licensing process Driver's license required for consideration Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN in the float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments at any UPH facility if employed within the past 12 months Contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
