Description Schedule:
07:00-19:30 Saturday, Sunday Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Graduate of a program for Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT registered or eligible.
  • Iowa licensure (Permit to Practice)
  • Must be registered to take certification boards in at least one specialty area within six months ofpletion of classes and/or acceptable clinical hours and exams.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
  • Ability to read andmunicate effectively in English.
  • High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
  • Ability tomunicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Strong RIS and PACSputer knowledge.
  • Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description. Must bepetent in all assigned areas.
  • Willingness toplete further radiographic education or certification as required by the department.
  • Must demonstrate leadership and effectivemunication skills as required for this position.
