Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Travel Experienced imaging professionals with expertise in X-ray technology are invited to fill a contract assignment supporting a dynamic healthcare team. This position involves working within a high-volume imaging unit serving outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and surgical patients. The facility utilizes Siemens (x-ray room/portables) and GE C-arms, with an average of 100-120 scans performed daily.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position Rotating schedule may include day, evening, or weekend shifts Holiday coverage: Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality X-ray imaging procedures for diverse patient populations Manage patient flow, including retrieval and transport of outpatients and emergency room patients Accurately operate Siemens x-ray and portable units, as well as GE c-arm for surgical cases Maintain clear and thorough documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system Collaborate efficiently with nursing and provider staff to ensure seamless patient care Comply with safety and infection control guidelines
Desired Experience and Skills:
Proven experience operating X-ray equipment in hospital or high-volume clinical settings Competence with Siemens and GE imaging platforms highly preferred Familiarity with
EPIC EMR
