MRI Technician

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract position in Waukee, IA, supporting a multi-campus healthcare system. This role offers a structured 4x10-day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities including one weeknight and one weekend every tenth weekend. The fast-paced environment serves Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient settings, requiring proficiency with Siemens and GE MRI equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI imaging procedures using Siemens and GE MRI systems. Administer power injection contrast injections with precision and safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple campuses to deliver quality patient care. Respond to on-call duties, providing timely support during designated shifts. Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and order management.

Desired Qualifications:

Certification and experience as an MRI Technologist. Familiarity with MRI imaging techniques and technology. Ability to manage patient care across Emergency, inpatient, and outpatient environments. Competency in power injection contrast administration. Flexibility to float between multiple campuses within the healthcare system. Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical setting.
