Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Seeking a knowledgeable professional to provide essential imaging services with a focus on CT technology. This contract position calls for a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality patient care.
Desired Qualifications:
Certification and training in Computed Tomography (CT) Demonstrated experience operating CT equipment and performing diagnostic CT scans Knowledge of safety protocols, radiation protection, and imaging best practices Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff Current ARRT (CT) certification preferred Up-to-date BLS certificationKey Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain processes, and address questions to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Operate CT equipment, monitor image quality, and make technical adjustments as needed Document procedures, patient information, and scan results efficiently and accurately Ensure a safe imaging environment, following strict safety guidelines and infection control procedures Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care Those with excellent attention to detail, a solid technical background, and a passion for patient service will thrive in this dynamic role.
