4 IR rooms o Minimum Years of Experience? 2 years of IR experience o Will you accept a first-time traveler?
Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Adults and peds. Only about 10% of the cases are peds. If they're a peds inpatient, the anesthesiologist and the pediatric sedation team will give the sedation. Peds experience not required, will be taught here. o General IR patients and Neuro IR (required) kyphos/vertebroplasties, G/GJ tube placement/exchange, neph tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filters, temporary and tunneled dialysis catheters, Y90s/TIPs, chemo/coil embolizations, ports, stroke patients Cases per day: o 25-45 cases per day
Required Licensure & Certifications:

BLS, ARRT, IEMA
Skills required: o Experience with above required cases o EPIC experience Support within the
Department:
o Charge/Lead o Management o Transporter Monday Friday, will also transport specimens o Stock person o Phlebotomy o RT 24/7 o Hospitalist 24/7 o
Radiologists, Rad PA and NP Technology/Equipment:
o
EMR:
EPIC experience required o Unit specific equipment: Inari, Penumbra, IVUS, EKOS, Angiojet (no experience required)
Floating:
If yes, where? o none Orientation (facility and unit) : o 1 shift of orientation o Will take call 2 nd week
Scheduling:
o Weekend rotation: call only, see below o On call? If so, what is that schedule? Call schedule is made in 8-week increments. It is a modified self-schedule 1 weekend every 4 th weekend, Saturday 0600 Monday 0600 Will take a full week of call every 4 th week with one weekday off. Call will be for either neuro or body cases. In addition, non-call weeks, tech will pick up shared "ancillary call to come in as a 3 rd on call team member for strokes or unstable trauma patients. Total ancillary call shifts are approximately 3 in 8-week schedule. Call team is 1 tech, 1 RN, unless it's stroke/trauma though, then will be 3-man call team with the "ancillary call tech or RN. No sleep room.

30 minutes for strokes, 45 minutes for traumas. o
