Job Description

Performs CT scan examinations on patients and coordinates patient flow to the CT scanner. Assists in evaluation, coordinating, implementing and maintaining all new and existing policies, protocols, and equipment problems with the Imaging Director and contacts the service vendor for prompt repairs. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with the providers. Assists in the orientation process of new technologists and works on special projects as assigned by the Director/Manager of Imaging services.
Minimum Education :
Associates Degree or greater in Radiological Sciences, or certificate from an AMA approved school.
Preferred Education:
Minimum Experience:
2 years in related work situation.
Preferred Experience Certifications Required:
CPR certification. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and have a valid Indiana State License issued by the Radiologic Section of the Indiana State Board of Health to operate X-ray producing equipment. Graduating students can utilize Student State Board of Health License for 90 days until Technologist State Board of Health License is obtained. Registered in CT (must be completed within 16 months of assuming position)
