Job Description

Education:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree in applied sciences is required.
Licensure/Certification:
MRI - Must be MRI registered with ARRT or have on the job training with clinical experience and be registered or registry eligible within one year of training. CT - Must be registered with ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist to be eligible for on the job training with clinical experience in Computed Tomography (CT).Must be current in BLS.
Mental/Physical Effort:
Close attention to detail of procedures, technique, positioning and contrast media side effects is required at all times. Ability to work unsupervised and capability for quick decision making. Demands lifting and transporting of patients to and from Medical Imaging Department. Requires ability to maneuver in close quarters and around equipment. Demands frequent or prolonged standing, sitting, stooping and bending. Requires normal (or corrected) vision and hearing for assessing film quality and telephone communication.
