Kiowa District Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. At KDH, our Radiologic Technologists play an essential role in patient care by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging that helps providers diagnose, treat, and care for patients. More than just taking images, you'll be a trusted member of the healthcare team, helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during some of their most vulnerable moments. What You'll Do Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using stationary and portable radiographic equipment. Obtain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity. Perform routine radiographic examinations, including trauma and surgical procedures. Assist with CT and DEXA imaging procedures according to department protocols. Safely prepare and position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images. Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to ensure patient and staff safety. Prepare and administer contrast agents within the scope of practice and applicable regulations. Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Assist with scheduling exams, coordinating imaging services, and communicating with patients. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within imaging systems. Perform quality control activities and assist in maintaining imaging equipment and department operations. Help fulfill KDH's mission of providing Quality C.A.R.E. Close to Home. Why KDH? Current ARRT certification in good standing. Licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts or eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification. Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills. Commitment to radiation safety and quality imaging practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. CT experience preferred but not required.
