Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Advance your diagnostic imaging career by playing a vital role in patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a valuable chance to utilize your expertise in mammography to deliver compassionate and high-quality imaging services over a 13-week assignment.
Schedule:
Five 8-hour day shifts, Monday through
Friday Qualifications:
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Mammography credential [ARRT(M)] Active Kansas state radiology license Demonstrated competence as a Mammography Technologist Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to offer comfort and instruction to patients Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Operate mammography equipment to perform screening and diagnostic procedures Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning for exams, and maintaining patient comfort and dignity Accurately capture, process, and assess images, ensuring clarity and compliance with quality standards Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical team to support timely diagnosis and follow-up Adhere to all regulatory and safety requirements, maintaining comprehensive records Foster a welcoming and reassuring environment for patients during their visit
