66062Job Description:
Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents. Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room. Completes required documentation for Radiologist support and performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy. Obtains and documents patient history and explain procedures.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
- Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
- Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
Education:
- Associate [Preferred]
- Bachelor's [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
- 2+ years experience [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support
- CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Registered Technologist
- Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]

$21.82- $40.
