Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A highly skilled imaging professional is sought for an engaging MRI opportunity within a healthcare setting. This position supports clinical teams by performing high-quality MRI scans and ensuring exceptional patient care throughout each imaging procedure.
Schedule:
3 shifts per week (12-hour nights) 6:45pm-6:45am Specific days to be discussed during the interviewQualifications:
Current ARRT(MR) certification (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous experience as an MRI technologist; strong technical proficiency with MRI equipment and safety protocols Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Ensure high-quality images are produced for accurate diagnostic interpretation Prepare patients for MRI procedures, verify patient identification, and explain exam processes Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, including appropriate screening for contraindications Operate MRI technology, adjust equipment, and troubleshoot as needed Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal workflow and patient care Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and infection prevention measures Accurately document examination details in patient records in accordance with facility requirementsBenefits:
