About the
Role:
As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in the healthcare team by performing diagnostic imaging examinations that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Your expertise in operating radiologic equipment will ensure high-quality images are captured while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and positioning them correctly to obtain accurate images. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of procedures and collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support effective patient care. Your work directly contributes to timely and accurate diagnoses, which are essential for successful treatment outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the United States (ARRT certification preferred). Strong understanding of radiologic safety procedures and patient care standards. Ability to operate radiologic equipment and related software proficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as CT. Additional certifications in specialized imaging techniques. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. Continuing education in radiologic technology or related healthcare fields.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy. Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure optimal image quality while minimizing discomfort and exposure to radiation. Review images for clarity and completeness, and communicate any issues or abnormalities to the radiologist promptly. Maintain patient records, document procedures, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss imaging results and assist in patient care planning.

Your communication skills are essential for explaining procedures to patients, alleviating their concerns, and coordinating with medical staff.
