Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and X-Ray scans, at Hamilton County Hospital. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff in the Emergency Room (ER) setting. Duties Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-Ray equipment. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient needs. Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical history. Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, troubleshooting any issues that arise during procedures. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to enhance patient care. Follow established protocols for infection control and radiation safety. Requirements Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required. Proficiency in CT and X-Ray imaging techniques is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or ER setting is preferred. Ability to perform scans efficiently while ensuring high-quality images are obtained. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in medical practice.
