Description
JOB SUMMARY
Greet patients and visitors in Radiology department. Answer and direct calls to appropriate area. Provide check-in process for patients and accurately enter orders. Assist in patient workflow and throughput, managing schedule. Process requests for records. Strong communication and customer service skills required. Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education High school diploma required. Minimum Work Experience Experience preferred. Required Skills Must have basic computer skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Answers telephone professionally and relays messages to proper areas.
Receives outpatients, ensures that all exams are entered for charge.
Establishes and maintains department records
Sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of patient and uses good communication skills.
Maintains record of all incoming and outgoing patient records.
Follows policies regarding consent for treatment and release of medical information regarding all age groups.
Follows All HIPAA requirements.
Demonstrates understanding of PACS, ability to burn CD's and transfer images from PACS. Has ability to navigate the RIS to maintain patient information
Develop and maintain good working relationships both intra and inter departmentally; to foster good customer relations while observing the TJ Regional mission statement.
Demonstrates courtesy and proper etiquette to patients, families and staff members at all times. Be willing to assist fellow employees in other areas as needed. Be a productive staff member at all times
Use

principals.
Assist the supervisors in day-to-day operation of the department with regard to balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, and quality improvement.
Assist physicians in files and records as needed. Qualifications
