Responsibilities:
Apply pulsed x-ray energy for imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis or treatment Perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and computer-processed imaging as requested by licensed practitioners Maintain professionalism and adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration with coworkers and departments Participate in staff training, selection, and competency assessment, assisting with onboarding new team members and students Assist Radiologists and management in developing and implementing imaging protocols Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and standards in imaging safety Administer and document peripheral venipuncture and other exam-related procedures Utilize ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety for patients and self
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Imaging - IR Tech ARRT certification and state licensure (if applicable) Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills Previous experience training staff or students preferred
