As an Interventional Radiology Technologist working in this dynamic setting, you'll apply pulsed x-ray energy to aid in diagnosis and treatment. This fast-paced role promises the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, further develop advanced imaging techniques, and play an active role in the training and mentorship of students and new team members. Schedule/Hours Travel position; scheduling details provided upon interview. Key Qualifications & Experience Prior experience as an IR Tech or in Imaging required. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound professional judgment and adhere to medical ethics. Proficiency in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Strong collaboration skills with coworkers, radiologists, and management. Familiarity with regulatory standards and radiology protocols. Experience training staff or mentoring students is a plus. Primary Responsibilities Perform and document diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures per physician request. Verify patient identity, history, and orders; ensure proper documentation in electronic records. Proactively manage patient flow, coordinate exams, and maintain open communication with nursing and transport units. Adhere to ALARA safety principles and provide radiation protection for patients and self. Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and maintaining competency standards. Support protocol development with radiologists and ensure compliance with hospital policies. Supervise and teach imaging students during clinical rotation.
