Our client is currently seeking a
Travel CT Technologist Job Details:
Location:
Houma, LA 70363
Duration:
12 weeks
Shift:
3x12s
Nights Weekly Pay:
$2,862/week (Including stipends)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Review medical orders, explain scanning procedures, check for risk factors or allergies, and address patient anxiety or claustrophobia.
  • Properly position patients on the examination table to capture exact body areas, start IV lines, and ensure comfort and safety during the scan.
  • Safely administer oral or intravenous radiocontrast agents to enhance image clarity while monitoring for any adverse or allergic reactions.
  • Operate multi-detector CT scanners, set proper technical parameters, perform regular calibration and warm-up sequences, and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience is required.
Certifications Required:
  • Current active ARRT (CT) certification.
  • BLS (AHA)
Education Required:
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences.
