Full Job Description Position Overview:
Role:
Performs routine CT imaging examinations, including emergency cases, ensuring adherence to departmental QC and data integrity standards.
Responsibilities:
Reviews requisitions, evaluates patient data, and determines procedure appropriateness based on diagnosis and clinical signs. Identifies patients using two identifiers, explains procedures, and answers questions about exams and radiation safety, practicing ALARA principles. Selects appropriate equipment and technical settings to distinguish normal and pathological anatomy. Assesses patient and family needs, providing a supportive environment. Performs basic imaging analysis, reports equipment issues, and maintains daily operations. Participates in departmental meetings, completes documentation accurately, and complies with all safety and privacy regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associates degree in Allied Health (Bachelor's preferred). At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.
AR/RT-CT
