Full-Time Sign-on Bonus:
Up to $15,000 for eligible new hires Position Summary Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. In this role, you will perform both routine and complex imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety, image quality, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols (ALARA). As part of a world-renowned pediatric institution, you will provide compassionate, family-centered care, tailoring your approach to meet the specific physical and emotional needs of our young patients.
Key Responsibilities Imaging Procedures:
Perform routine and complex diagnostic radiology exams on a scheduled and emergency basis, ensuring optimal image quality and proper technique selection.
Patient & Family Care:
Assess patient/family readiness, explain procedures clearly, address concerns regarding radiation exposure, and utilize High Reliability practices to ensure a safe environment.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain strict compliance with departmental protocols, quality control standards, data integrity workflows, and ALARA principles.
Team Support:
Support daily department operations, handle equipment maintenance/troubleshooting, manage supplies, and assist with quality assurance initiatives. Mentorship and training support for junior staff, students, and residents may also be required.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience:
Diagnostic Radiology experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current Massachusetts Radiographer License American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compensation & Total Rewards Pay Range:
$90k-120k annually (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $15,000 available for qualifying new employees.
