The pay rate for an entry-level Mammography Technologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital is: $42.29/hr. Job Summary Under direct supervision, performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in women patients for our client facilities. May perform screening exams or diagnostic exams. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Greet and prepare patients for their procedures. Take verbal orders from physician. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic studies on patients. Prints film or burns CDs if warranted. Matches with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation. Assist in quality improvement programs in the department. Assists in training new personnel in hospital and department procedures. Instructs Radiologic Technology students in the radiographic positioning, technique, and film critique. Documents patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Radiology required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
