Job Description

Schedule:
Variable shifts with possible on-call and overtime Rotations across department, divisions, and affiliated clinics
Key Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required Registered in CT by the ARRT (CT); must maintain active ARRT CT certification 2-3 years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred, with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting and Siemens equipment required Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to work with patients in physical/emotional distress
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment (scanners, injectors, monitoring devices) following protocol and safety standards Ensure patient preparation, correct positioning, and appropriate shielding Clearly explain procedures and provide care under your scope of practice Calibrate equipment daily and report malfunctions promptly Complete exam-related paperwork and utilize Radiology Information Systems for scheduling and PACS image transfer Perform venipuncture and contrast administration per policy Support research, QA, and improvement projects Oversee and educate students and personnel as needed Maintain supplies and prepare equipment rooms Provide patient transport and support effective collaboration across teams Flexibly cover shifts, including on-call duties
