Opportunity Overview:
Join a collaborative medical imaging team in Western Massachusetts, where you'll work a Monday-Friday evening shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM) with rotating holidays. This position offers the chance to work in both general radiology and CT, making it an ideal role for a versatile and motivated technologist. You'll be responsible for conducting a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using X-Ray and CT modalities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, attention to patient care, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will also assist with patient transport as needed and be comfortable with occasional supervisory tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiology and CT imaging, including IV insertions and contrast injections. Use PACS, HIS, and RIS systems; troubleshoot CR, DR, and CT systems as needed. Apply infection control protocols and uphold hospital standards and patient confidentiality. Provide guidance or supervision in assigned imaging areas. Communicate effectively using written, verbal, and mobile communication formats.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program. Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License. ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R). CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
CT Certification (ARRT-CT); training available for those without current certification. At least 1 year of X-Ray tech experience. Strong detail orientation and team-oriented mindset.
