As a vital member of the imaging team, you'll specialize in CT and X-ray procedures, with additional exposure to advanced applications in radiology. Key Qualifications:
Proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging techniques (primary focus on CT) Experience as a Radiologic Technologist in clinical settings Knowledge of PACS, HIS, and RIS systems; ability to troubleshoot imaging applications Strong initiative, sound judgment, and excellent communication abilities (written, verbal, electronic formats) Strict adherence to infection control, patient confidentiality, and hospital/departmental policies Completion of mandatory annual education (including infection control and bloodborne pathogen protocols) IV insertion and contrast injection experience
Responsibilities:
Independently perform a range of diagnostic radiology and CT procedures Apply critical thinking and technical expertise to facilitate accurate diagnoses Assume supervisory or educational tasks as delegated by department leadership Maintain departmental competencies and uphold the highest patient care standards Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS equipment
