Job Description

Job Requirements We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support minimally invasive, image-guided procedures at our client healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high standards of imaging quality and sterile technique. Primary Responsibilities Assist interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, biopsies, and embolization's Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring proper sterile field and equipment readiness Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital radiography systems Monitor patient vital signs and provide support before, during, and after procedures Administer contrast media under physician supervision, following safety protocols Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions Work Experience Education & Experience - Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure (if required by assignment location) Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital imaging setting required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Benefits Compensation $55/hr Flat rate
