STATUS:
Part-Time 24 hours/week CT/X-Ray Technologist Cary Medical Center is seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform Computed Tomography procedures for inpatients and outpatients, prioritizing high-quality outcomes, patient safety, and exceptional customer service . Essential Job Duties, But Not Limited To:
Completes computed tomography (CT) procedures following departmental protocols Confidently explains CT procedures to patients Accurately and consistently completes required CT paperwork Assists the Front Office staff in insuring orders for CT procedures are appropriate Maintains current standards of practice through review of current literature, including information on best practice Completes IV starts and IV management following hospital protocol for contrast material administration Administers appropriate contrast material required to complete CT procedures Confidently explains possible IV problems and possible contrast material reactions to patients Completes assigned CT duties efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
Licenses and Education:
State of Maine Radiologic Technology License American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Certification CPR Certification Availability:
In consideration of our patients' and staff needs, you may be required to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays, and may need to float to other units.
