Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your career in a pivotal imaging role as a skilled professional proficient in CT and PET/CT technology. This opportunity involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Schedule:
Day shift; shift schedule may vary
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CT Technologist, PET/CT Technologist, or similar imaging role Proficiency with CT equipment and protocols; PET/CT experience strongly preferred Valid ARRT certification, applicable state licensure, and completion of an accredited radiology program Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles Commitment to infection control and patient confidentiality Covid vaccination is required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced
CT, PET/CT
scans according to established procedures Prepare patients for imaging studies, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and safety Collaborate with radiologists and referring medical staff to produce comprehensive and accurate images Maintain imaging equipment; perform quality assurance and basic troubleshooting Accurately document all patient and study information in the electronic medical record Recognize and respond to emergencies and patient needs swiftly and professionally
