Summary:
The MRI Technologist I role performs basic MRI exams and procedures. Week 1- Monday, Wednesday and Friday Week 2- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday This position takes weekend call, approximately 8 weekends per year, and 1 weeknight every 3 weeks. This position does cover holidays. This position does not work regularly scheduled weekend hours. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
License/Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT--MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) MRI certification- eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Experience:
No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred.
