Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced CT/PET Technologist skilled in emergent imaging procedures. This role offers the chance to work the third shift in an efficient radiology department, performing critical CT scans and X-rays during nighttime hours. Location Positioned in Wells, ME, this assignment is within a well-equipped outpatient facility known for high-quality patient care and advanced imaging technologies. The department features Siemens CT scanners alongside Fuji and Schumadzu X-Ray equipment, utilizing the Epic electronic medical records system. Free on-site parking adds convenience to your daily routine. Schedule/Hours Monday through Thursday 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM No on-call duties except backup call once a month on weekends Key Responsibilities Perform emergent CT scans and general X-rays during third shift hours Ensure patient safety and quality imaging standards for outpatient cases Operate advanced Siemens CT and X-ray equipment proficiently Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within Epic EMR Collaborate closely with radiology team members to optimize patient care Qualifications / Desired Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience ARRT (R)(CT) certification required Skilled in handling emergent diagnostic imaging needs with attention to detail Comfortable working independently during overnight hours Work Environment Outpatient setting with no inpatients on site 20-bed facility focused on quality radiologic services Professional dress code with flexibility on scrub colors This travel position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a focused outpatient radiology department while maintaining a stable 40-hour workweek without float requirements.
