Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Bring your imaging expertise to a dynamic healthcare setting, performing essential diagnostic X-ray procedures that contribute directly to patient care. As an X-ray Technologist, you will utilize advanced imaging equipment, collaborate closely with medical teams, and ensure accurate imaging records to support clinical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic X-rays Position patients and select appropriate exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient comfort and safety Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and best practices for infection control Assess image quality and collaborate with physicians for further image requirements Accurately document procedures and maintain patient imaging records in compliance with regulatory standards Provide guidance and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging process Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the imaging suite and equipment
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification or registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or an equivalent credential) Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiology procedures, and appropriate patient positioning Demonstrated ability to operate standard X-ray equipment and digital imaging systems Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on patient care Attention to detail and strong documentation skills Current BLS certification preferred Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting is a plus This contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact within a supportive team environment, utilizing your X-ray expertise to enhance patient outcomes.
