Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Specializing in radiology and interventional techniques, this contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about advanced imaging and patient care. Under general supervision, you will conduct computerized tomographic radiological procedures, as well as general radiologic and interventional radiology tasks. The role requires a keen eye for detail, comprehensive technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid and current credential as a Radiology Technologist or Registered Nurse with specialization in Interventional Radiology Proficiency in computerized tomography (CT), general X-ray procedures, and interventional imaging ARRT certification or RN license, as applicable Experience working in clinical or hospital-based imaging departments Familiarity with electronic health record systems and digital imaging software Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork
Responsibilities:
Independently perform CT scans and general radiographic examinations based on physician's orders Assist in interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each exam Assess, prepare, and position patients accurately for optimal imaging results Operate imaging equipment, monitor patient condition, and ensure adherence to established protocols Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and support quality assurance initiatives Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists for case preparation and follow-up Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards This position offers the chance to work alongside an accomplished healthcare team, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and supporting a diverse patient population.
