Position Summary:
Thes Student Radiologic Technologist operates radiology equipment under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic x-ray images in various clinical settings. Responsibilities include performing radiologic procedures, assisting patients with positioning, maintaining a clean work area, and handling routine clerical tasks.
Hours:
On call / Per diem What the Student Radiologic Technologist will do: Performs X-Ray procedures and operates machines in a safe and proper manner. Performs all clerical and support functions associated with X-Ray process. Assesses and monitors patient condition during procedures. Accurately articulates exam results as directed by Radiologist, to Physicians, RNs and patients. What the Student Radiologic Technologist will need: Second year student in an approved American Registry Radiographic Technologist program. Certification or re-certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire. First year of hospital clinicals complete. Able to carry, pull, and push up to 35 lbs. unassisted and over 35lbs with assistance.
