Job Description

Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) with a proven track record in angiographic and neuro-interventional procedures. This position is ideal for professionals skilled in advanced imaging techniques who excel in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting.
Schedule:
13-week contract Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (5x8 hour shifts) Rotating on-call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend every 3rd-5th depending on staffing
Qualifications:
Active ARRT(R) certification Current BLS certification Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Proficient in angiographic and neuro-interventional procedures Demonstrated expertise in sterile fluid preparation and direct assistance to providers during procedures Experience with Siemans Biplane systems is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Operate C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment to visualize targeted anatomy for a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures Scrub in and assist physicians during interventional radiology cases while maintaining a sterile field Prepare and manage sterile fluids and contrast media as needed Respond to call duties with professionalism and promptness, ensuring high standards of patient care at all times Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate patient positioning, safety, and optimal imaging outcomes This assignment offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals and expand expertise in a respected clinical environment.
