Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare setting where your expertise in imaging and X-ray technology can make a significant impact. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced and detail-oriented radiologic technologist, proficient in X-ray procedures, to deliver high-quality diagnostic images and contribute to optimal patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state license to perform X-ray procedures Demonstrated proficiency in operating digital and traditional X-ray equipment Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control measures Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Schedule/Hours:
Contract-based position; scheduling details to be discussed during interview
Key Responsibilities:
Perform X-ray imaging examinations following physician orders and established protocols Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture required images Maintain patient records and ensure documentation meets facility standards Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnostics Monitor imaging equipment for proper function and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies regarding radiation safety and patient confidentiality
