Travel Assignment Qualifications:
Experience with CT imaging (computerized tomography) Proficient in differentiating between normal and abnormal anatomy in CT studies Skilled in administering IV and oral contrast Knowledge of protocols for radiation safety and patient monitoring Strong interpersonal skills for patient care and team collaboration Proficient in venous puncture, sterile procedure support, and obtaining vital signs
Responsibilities:
Perform CT studies following protocol, adapting exams as necessary based on patient history and radiologist instructions Administer IV and oral contrast safely and monitor patients throughout procedures Provide radiation protection using shielding and collimation techniques Assist radiologists in sterile procedures, maintain sterile technique, and document key patient information Recognize and promptly address urgent medical conditions or allergic reactions during procedures
