Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Step into a vital role specializing in imaging, where your expertise as an X-ray Technologist will have a meaningful impact on patient care. Working under general supervision, you'll use your skills to conduct computerized tomographic radiological procedures, as well as general diagnostic X-ray exams. This flexible PRN opportunity allows you to pick up shifts as needed, making it ideal for professionals seeking adaptability in their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality computerized tomographic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Perform diagnostic general X-ray examinations, delivering accurate images for provider interpretation. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure, adhering to all regulatory and quality assurance standards. Maintain imaging equipment, perform quality control tasks, and promptly address technical issues or concerns. Document all procedures and patient records accurately in compliance with institutional guidelines. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient workflow.
Qualifications:
Current licensure/certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Previous experience performing X-ray and CT imaging procedures strongly preferred. Ability to operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment with precision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Detail-oriented with robust organizational and documentation abilities.
