As a CT Technologist , you play a critical role in diagnosing and guiding treatment by producing accurate, high-quality imaging in a safe and efficient environment. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, outpatient-focused setting where you can focus on patient care, precision, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Imaging & Patient Care Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort . Administer contrast media when appropriate, monitoring patients for reactions. Verify patient history and ensure proper documentation prior to procedures. Perform IV placement and administer contrast media. Perform daily QC. Quality & Safety Ensure all imaging meets quality standards for diagnostic accuracy. Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA principles) to minimize exposure. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements . Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly. Collaboration & Workflow Work closely with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to ensure timely imaging and reporting. Manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care. Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns. Documentation & Systems Accurately document procedures in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems . Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations . What You Bring Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program . ARRT certification (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe. Active state licensure Current BLS certification . Experience performing CT scans in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols . Understanding of radiation safety and contrast administration . Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment .
