Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a crucial imaging role supporting exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for an experienced Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech seeking to advance their skills and contribute to a dedicated radiology team.
Schedule:
Day shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Every 3rd weekend required Potential to transition to afternoon shifts, as needed
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (R) certification Registered/licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state Demonstrated proficiency in general radiology and X-ray procedures Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control standards Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills Experience in a hospital or large clinical setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols Prepare, position, and instruct patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety Operate digital imaging equipment, including performing quality control and troubleshooting as needed Process images and accurately document findings for physician interpretation Maintain detailed patient records and uphold confidentiality Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient workflows and outcomes Adhere consistently to safety regulations, infection prevention policies, and established radiology best practices
