Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Take your expertise in radiology and nursing to the next level in a dynamic healthcare environment that values skill, precision, and patient care. This contract opportunity calls for professionals proficient in Imaging - Radiology Technology, Interventional Radiology (RN), and X-ray Technology/Radiologic Technology. You will play a pivotal part in conducting advanced radiological procedures, including computerized tomographic imaging, and contribute to quality outcomes for patients requiring both diagnostic and interventional care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and valid licensure/certification in at least one of the following: Radiologic Technologist, X-ray Technologist, and/or Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology Proficiency in computerized tomography (CT) and general diagnostic radiology procedures Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred Strong understanding of safety standards and infection control protocols within radiology and interventional departments Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care Familiarity with electronic medical records and radiology information systems
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiological imaging, including specialized computerized tomographic (CT) exams, as ordered by providers Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to support interventional radiology procedures Ensure accurate patient positioning and efficient workflow for both diagnostic and interventional imaging Uphold safety procedures and maintain equipment in accordance with facility standards Document all procedures and maintain records in compliance with regulations and organizational policies Provide patient education and clear instruction before, during, and after procedures This is a valuable opportunity for those who excel in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting and thrive on delivering precise imaging and care.
