Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment as an Imaging - Radiology Tech/X-ray Technologist, delivering essential diagnostic services within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role involves providing expert radiological imaging support and working collaboratively with medical teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results for patients.
Schedule:
Day shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Work every third weekend Flexibility for potential transition to afternoons if needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent State license as required for Radiologic Technologists Demonstrated competency in X-ray imaging procedures and safe, effective patient care Strong understanding of imaging equipment operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with physicians, nurses, and patient care teams Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiologic imaging studies as ordered by physicians, while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure Accurately document all procedures and maintain detailed patient imaging records Prepare, operate, and care for radiology equipment, adhering to quality control protocols Provide explanation and reassurance to patients before and during imaging procedures Follow all infection prevention guidelines and safety protocols within the imaging department Collaborate with healthcare professionals, offering timely and clear imaging results to support diagnoses and treatment planning By contributing your proficiency and patient-centered approach, you'll play a vital role in advancing patient care and supporting accurate diagnoses.
