Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (flexible scheduling options may be available)
Key Qualifications:
Credentialed in CT Imaging; experience with general diagnostic radiology is a plus Familiarity with radiation safety principles (ALARA) Ability to administer intravenous contrast media and respond to patient reactions Proficient in PACS and RIS systems Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Adaptable to varying clinical protocols and patient needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Explain CT and radiology procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding Prepare examination rooms and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and sterile equipment Accurately perform CT scan procedures, analyzing anatomy and controlling equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Administer IV contrast when appropriate, monitoring patient responses, and providing immediate care if needed Assist radiologists with complex procedures and biopsies, ensuring proper protocol and patient safety Uphold standards of excellence, including timely documentation, professionalism, and commitment to quality care Complete all study indexing and data entry in
