Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services as a Radiology Tech/X-ray Technologist. This position is instrumental in assisting healthcare teams through expert operation of imaging equipment, ensuring precision and patient comfort throughout each stage of the radiologic process.
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Valid state license as required. Demonstrated experience with radiology imaging procedures, including X-ray operation. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret physician instructions for diagnostic images. Excellent interpersonal skills to support and reassure patients during procedures. Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documenting procedures in electronic medical records systems (EMR). Commitment to compliance with safety, infection control, and ethical guidelines in a healthcare setting.

Contract position; specifics to be discussed during interview.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiological procedures by explaining processes and providing support to ease their concerns. Operate radiology imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as per physician orders. Ensure proper positioning of patients and adjustment of equipment for optimal imaging results. Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, themselves, and colleagues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging suite; ensure equipment is well-maintained and calibrated. Accurately document all procedures and ensure timely upload and availability of images for medical staff review. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
