Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Advance your career as an experienced X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist by providing high-quality imaging care within a healthcare setting. This PRN, "pick up as needed" opportunity offers flexibility for professionals seeking to contribute their skills while balancing personal or other work commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct computerized tomographic radiological procedures with precision, adhering to protocols in a patient-centered environment. Accurately perform general diagnostic radiology examinations as required. Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging processes, maintaining effective communication throughout procedures. Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and readiness of imaging equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient outcomes. Accurately document and compile imaging data, entering information into hospital systems according to established procedures.
Schedule:
PRN (as needed; flexible scheduling encouraged)
Desired Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current and valid certification as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist. Additional certification in CT imaging preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions. Ability to work independently and make quick, accurate decisions in a clinical environment. Proven track record of adhering to best practices, patient privacy standards, and safety guidelines.
