Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as a Radiologic Technologist within a busy imaging department, where your skills in both radiology and X-ray technology will have a direct impact on quality patient care. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in diagnostic imaging and are eager to work in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Day shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Required to work every 3rd weekend Possibility of moving to afternoon shifts in the future
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Valid state license/certification as a Radiologic Technologist Experience in a clinical or hospital imaging setting highly preferred Proficiency operating radiologic and X-ray equipment Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt to changing schedules as needed
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality radiologic and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols Safeguard patients' safety and privacy by following established standards and best practices Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain up-to-date records in hospital systems Collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, providing guidance and reassurance throughout the process Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with regulations
